This wine is made from 94% Shiraz and 6% Viognier added at the crusher. It heralds in the new age of Shiraz, with elegance and refinement and not the porty styles seen in Shiraz from warmer regions.
It is refined, subtle and elegant with spice underlying pepper and nutmeg, berries and the Viognier providing a silky creamy character which intergrates with the French Oak.
This is a Limited Edition wine and follows the award winning 2005 Fenix Rising.
It is only made when the grape quality demands a special wine.
