The Ratz range of wines is an exciting new addition for Mount Cole WineWorks.
The Ratz wines are made from high quality Grampians and Pyrenees grapes and bottled early to capture the maximum fruit flavour. They are not pretentious, but the quality of the fruit flows through to the wines.
The Ratz wines are great to have with food, especially at a party or a BBQ. They are ideal for alfresco occasions such as picnics. They are perfect for summer drinking and even the Shiraz can be lightly chilled.
The Ratz range is bottled in 500ml bottles for convenience. The 500ml bottle is “handbag comfortable” and contains approximately FIVE STANDARD DRINKS.
This is perfect for that occasion when you need to know how much is drunk or you need to try a different RATZ. The convenient screw cap means that a corkscrew is not required and the bottle can easily be resealed.
The Ratz range currently is Rielsing, Rosé and Shiraz.
The Riesling has a fragrant lifted nose following through to a palate with rose petal and orange characters on the palate.
The Rosé has a beguiling melon & cherry nose which follows through to the palate.
The Shiraz has a vanilla and quince perfume which leads to a refreshing palate.
