Mount Cole WineWorks
Owned by Graeme and Carolyn Bertuch, Mt Cole Wineworks was established in the late 1990's in a valley at Mount Cole, near the well known Langi Ghiran vineyard.
This is in the Grampians Wine Region and the heart of Victoria Felix.
The vineyard specializes in shiraz, with soils and climate suiting this variety. Cool nights and warm days ripen the fruit late in the season. The soil is granitic loam over red clay, allowing true expression of the shiraz variety in the wine.
If you are in the Grampians Region visit our new cellar door at “OFF THE BEATEN TRACK WINE & ART GALLERY”.
How to Purchase
All our wines are available to order direct on-line (see individual wine pages) and through select wine retailers.
SPECIAL OFFERS
Free ½ dozen 2004 “Off the Beaten Track” Cabernet Sauvignon with every dozen “Off the Beaten Track” shiraz. This may be a single vintage or mixed dozen.
Free 1 dozen 2004 “Off the Beaten Track” Cabernet Sauvignon with every dozen Fenix Rising shiraz.
The reason for rewarding with this fine wine is that it cannot be repeated because the vineyard which was alongside Mt Langi Ghiran vineyard has succumbed to the tree farm epidemic prevalent in the Western District of Victoria. It is a “bin end” but a great wine which has the structure to last for years.
